The Challenge

Established in 1284, Ruthin is a gentle school that prepares our 360 pupils to face the challenges of the changing world beyond the school gates. We focus on encouraging friendships and building self-confidence in all our pupils that will last them a lifetime.

Before adopting MyConcern Safeguarding Software, we were using paper to record and report safeguarding concerns. This presented record-keeping difficulties and made it difficult to connect the dots between concerns to develop a holistic view of each pupil.

"MyConcern has helped us to easily build up a picture of each pupil in order for us to put in place interventions to protect and support them."

The Solution - MyConcern

We became aware of MyConcern Safeguarding Software after attending a safeguarding conference organised by One Team Logic, the company who makes MyConcern. We were immediately impressed and thought it would be ideal for our use.

"The training course was great and well appreciated by all staff. "

Implementing MyConcern

By implementing MyConcern, we are now able to store all our safeguarding records in one secure place. We are confident that we have now have a system which is easy for all staff to use, and we’re able to easily build a team around each pupil.

Since implementing MyConcern, we’ve also received their safeguarding training which has helped us to stay informed of current issues with up-to-date, quality training.

"We estimate that MyConcern has actually saved us £1000 in just one year in terms of staff time! "
